Pre Natal Yoga Workshop

Calling all Mammas to be!

In this workshop, we will focus on 4 areas:

We will flow. You will learn how to safely modify your yoga practice throughout your pregnancy, giving you the ability to build a gentle home practice or take a traditional vinyasa class, should prenatal classes be less accessible to you.

We will bond. Through meditation and pranayama (breathing techniques), you will experience a deep connection with your growing little one.

We will prepare.  You will learn and practice postures and breathing techniques that facilitate the normal progress of labor, and will help with pain relief.

We will relate. You will meet other area moms to be, share your pregnancy stories and relate on the beauty and all of the work that is pregnancy.  We hope you will make some new friends -  it takes a village!

You will be led through this workshop by Alana D'Angelica, 200 hour certified Vinyasa instructor who has completed Kaia Yoga's Prenatal Training I and is now a mom of a rambunctious, yoga-loving toddler!  

It is recommended that you have tried yoga before or have a regular fitness practice before starting a Prenatal yoga practice.
